Aspen Food and Wine Classic

The Aspen Food and Wine Classic is held on the second weekend in September. Aspen is taken over by the world's top culinary talent and is considered one of North America's top culinary events. The multi-day event includes multiple seminars, grand tastings, as well as a showcase from the newly crowned Top Chef.

Aspen Historical Society

Aspen has a deep and remarkable history that has been preserved by the Aspen Historical Society for everyone's viewing pleasure. If you're looking to experience some of Aspen's history without leaving town you can go to the Wheeler / Stallard Museum downtown or for the more adventurous historian you can visit the intriguing ghost towns of Ashcroft and Independence on snowshoes.

Aspen Opera House

Aspen's most historic jewel from 1889 is the Wheeler Opera House, which is still up and running. The Wheeler Opera House host's something that anyone can enjoy from concerts to stand-up comedy and even film festivals.
